Aside from using fabrics derived from recycled plastic waste, many of our styles are reversible and multi-use (swim and activewear) so you can get maximum use out of your swimwear. We make gender neutral options for kids so the pieces can easily be passed down. We also use the highest quality fabrics so your swimsuits last as long as possible. Find out more here.

Some of our swimwear comes from a factory in Bali,Indonesia. Our most recent collections are made at a specialized swimwear factory near Guangzhou, China.

To maximize the life of your spandex swimsuit (i.e. stretchy women’s and kids pieces), we recommend hand washing it in cold water and gently squeezing it dry. Avoid violent wringing, please! To absorb water before laying it out to dry, roll your swimsuit in a towel and gently squeeze. Lay flat to dry in the shade. Check out our guide to make your favourite swimsuit last longer.

If you really need to put your swimsuit in a washing machine (no judgement, life's too busy to hand wash stuff, we get it), wash it in a mesh laundry net in cold water on the delicate cycle. It's best to use a gentle detergent, like a baby laundry liquid.

For men’s and boys’ swim shorts (i.e the non-stretchy ones) you can machine wash them in 40 degree water.

From a logistics perspective, all clothing needs to be individually packed for transport and storage to keep the items clean and to prevent damage. Unfortunately, there’s no better solution to this than using clear plastic bags – we tried the cassava alternative but because of Singapore’s hot and humid climate, they just started biodegrading right in the warehouse!

Our factory packs our products in slightly thicker and hardier bags so that we can reuse them, and we encourage you to do the same. For example, when we unpack stock for a pop up or at a store, we save all the bags to pack other items in later. So if your item arrives in a bag that looks a little used, don’t fret – your swimsuits are still in perfect condition, and we’ve reduced the number of bags headed to the incinerator by reusing them as much as possible.

Our logistics provider has also recently switched to mailer bags that are made of recycled materials and that can be resealed to be reused for product returns.
