Balancing these responsibilities requires flexibility and a good sense of humour. I’ve learnt to embrace the unpredictability—some days are smooth sailing, while others feel like a whirlwind!

Making It Work (and Having Fun Along the Way)
To keep this wild ride on track, I’ve picked up a few tricks. First, setting boundaries is a game-changer. When work hours are done, I shift gears to full-on mom mode—think family dinners, weekend adventures, and all the giggles in between. And prioritising tasks? Oh, it’s a lifesaver. Each morning starts with a to-do list so I can tackle the big stuff first and avoid feeling buried in chores.
Self-care? Yep, that’s in the mix too!
Even if it’s just a quick workout, some quiet reading, or sneaking in my favourite snack (because why not?), those little moments keep me energised and ready to conquer the day.
The best part? Involving my kids in the action! Whether they pitch ideas for new designs (some hilariously creative ones, I might add!) or tag along to events, it’s a win-win. They learn about responsibility and entrepreneurship, and we make memories together.
And let’s be real—flexibility is everything. Kids are unpredictable, and life happens. If a meeting runs late or someone needs an extra hug after a long day, I adjust without stressing. It’s all part of the adventure.
