The past couple of years have been a roller coaster for me really... on top of trying to build a business I had two babies back to back (I wouldn't recommend it, for your sanity!) As I've come realize, it's balance that is important. Slowing down and thinking about how you spend your time and resources, the impact you have on not just yourself but future generations. This is why I'm putting sustainability more and more at the heart of the brand.
The new pieces that I'm launching in our new active swim range are made at a great factory in Bali that focuses on quality and treats its people well and fairly. They are of course sustainable and eco-friendly, made from recycled nylon that has been purified and regenerated from waste plastic, and also contain XtraLife Lycra® to help retain their shape, are ultra chlorine resistant, sun creams & oil resistant and offer UPF 50+ protection.
Fashion is one of the most polluting industries out there, so we can do our part by not only wearing sustainable fabrics but by shopping less and thereby throwing away less clothing. I want to be the antithesis of fast fashion - my bathing suits are built to last from high quality fabrics so you can wear it year after year, trip after trip.
I want you to get maximum mileage out of your swimsuit so you can buy and travel with less. The mix and match, reversible pieces are made for swimming but can multitask as effectively as your badass self: use them for water activities, sports or as casual wear. Go from pool to bar by throwing on a casual skirt. Do some downward dogs on the beach and then dive right into the waves. Slip on a pair of cut-off shorts and head straight out for some sightseeing. Want a different look tomorrow? Reverse it. Go carry-on only, I dare you.
